Participants develop deeper levels of empathy and increase skills in supporting any LGBTQ+ or gender non-conforming children or youth who may be placed with them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Supportive Families, Safe Homes<\/strong>\u00a0training is an excellent option for Foster Family Agencies (FFAs), Short Term Residential Treatment Programs (STRTPs), etc. seeking to meet the requirements of California\u2019s Continuum of Care Reform (CCR) mandates regarding training for caregivers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The training was life changing for me; I truly was unaware of the need for appropriate homes for LGBTQ youth in [my] county.
